34 pocket knives, but no more whittled picture frames.
96 pieces of rope, but no more square knots.
6 tarps, but no more sleep-outs.
Last night, I collected the last tinder,
stacked the last kindling, burned the last fuel.
Then I ate meatloaf baked in an onion,
cheesy biscuits roasted on the end of a stick,
and pineapple upside down caked perfected on coals.
Tomorrow or the day after, I will finish counting,
campcraft will close,
and then camp will follow.
