My older sister's name is Mary Theresa, so this is for her and the big dream God's given her.
Her father changed the law so she could rule. Europe accepted it with the little help of bribes. She inherited a bankrupt land with an insignificant army. She had little training in leading a nation. By the end of her 40 year reign, she'd initiated reforms, secured the Austrian state, and established the Hapsburg dynasty for generations.
She cared for the poor...loved her husband...had sixteen children...and changed the face of Europe.
